My name is Jay, and I’m a 16-year-old sophomore in high school. One of the biggest passions of mine is editing videos. For nearly two years, I have been editing on a software called Vegas Pro. As a beginner editor, Vegas is easy to use and has no place in the professional world. Although a lot of YouTubers and amateurs use it, editing studios see Vegas as inadequate for professional use. My goal is to switch from Vegas Pro to an editing software that will provide me with more opportunities in the future, Adobe Premiere Pro.
